Neuro Alert Monitoring Services, a leading provider of Intraoperative Neurophysiological Monitoring (IONM) services, the gold standard for improving safety and patient outcome during brain, spine, vascular and ENT procedures announced that Nestor Nicolaides, DC, CNIM has joined their organization to further define and strengthen their Competency and Proficiency Program. Dr. Nicolaides will develop new programs to establish and assess high level clinical standards and documentation. He will also join forces with the Neuro Alert Business Development Team to help expand outreach regarding their services.
Dr. Nicolaides’ appointment is a sign of Neuro Alert’s commitment to competency based evaluations and advancing clinical performance models. Dr. Nicolaides earned his Doctor of Chiropractic from Life Chiropractic College in Marietta, GA and received his Certification in Spinal Intraoperative Neuromonitoring from New York Chiropractic College. In 2013, he was certified in IONM by the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists (ABRET). He has lectured extensively and has been published on the subject of Electrodiagnostic Medicine and Intraoperative Neuromonitoring.
Dr. Nicolaides has over sixteen years of hands-on experience in the Operating Room. His wealth of industry knowledge will help him play a key role in advancing the Neuro Alert Competency & Proficiency Program.
